Welcome to the Maynard Community Chest Website

The Maynard Community Chest is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that strengthens our community by supporting local charitable agencies that provide a broad range of essential human services to people who live or work in Maynard, Massachusetts. The Community Chest supports 17 organizations and provides many kinds of services to Maynard residents of all ages, abilities and types of need. Local community volunteers keep fundraising and operating costs low. The Community Chest has no paid staff. The Community Chest is independently audited each year and requires a thorough financial disclosure from all agencies. As long as you live or work in Maynard, MA, you are eligible to receive the services provided by our Member Agencies.

Please join us for our upcoming Annual Meeting! This event is a great opportunity to network with others in our community and learn about Maynard Community Chest and the 17 human services organizations we support. Representatives from our supported agencies attend as do local politicians and community members. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to learn more about Maynard and all of the good organizations that support our community. Light refreshments will be served.

The Annual Meeting will be held on March 13th at 7pm in the Maynard Public Library with a snow date on March 20th. Hope to see you there!

Annual Campaign a Success

We are excited to announce that our Annual Campaign again managed to raise more funds than last year. We are so fortunate to be a part of a community that cares so deeply for others.
