Maynard Community Chest Annual Campaign is Underway
For 43 years, the Maynard Community Chest has been supporting a wide range of human service organizations that assist Maynard residents. It is our mission to assist all members of our community; young, aging, physically or mentally challenged, and socially or and financially in need.
The agencies to which we provide financial assistance touch most of Maynard’s population and in a wide variety of ways. If you don’t personally benefit from one of these wonderful organizations, it’s a good bet that you know someone who does.
- Do you know a child who attends an afterschool program or receives services through Early Intervention?
- Do you have a friend or neighbor who receives food assistance through the Maynard Food Pantry, Open Table or one of the area food assistance programs? Do you know an aging member of our community who participates in one of the many programs at Minuteman Senior Services or Cooperative Elder Services?
- Do you want to help agencies such as Domestic Violence Services Network and MetroWest Legal Services who help protect and assist those neighbors with limited resources?
It’s simply neighbors helping neighbors. We appreciate your support in helping us raise $40,000 to distribute in our community to help these local human services heroes. To learn more about the agencies that we support, please see the enclosed brochure. Every little bit helps, so please consider a gift of any size. THANK YOU in advance for your generosity.
