6th Annual Community Chest Challenge

Join together with friends, neighbors and colleagues to support the Maynard Community Chest and participate in the 6th Annual Community Chest Challenge.

A team triathlon for athletes of all abilities to benefit the human service organizations of Maynard, Concord and Carlisle

The relay triathlon is done in teams of 2-6 people with 2 people competing in each leg of the race: an 11.7-mile bike, a 2.9-mile run and a 2-mile canoe. The minimum team contribution is $600 ($100 each for a team of 6).

There are many ways to support the Community Chest Challenge!
Read below to find out how to be involved...
  • Participate - Bike, run and/or paddle on a triathlon relay team and raise funds for the Maynard Community Chest (Recruit your own team of 2-6 people or we'll match you up with other athletes to form a team.)
  • Sponsor - a Maynard triathlon relay team (Let us know which Maynard team you want to support by writing the team name in the Designation line on the online form.)
  • Attend - a pre-race family friendly fundraiser at Morey’s Tavern on Sunday, May 18, from 2 - 4 pm. Buy raffle tickets and enjoy the good company and live Irish music
  • Donate - a raffle item to the Morey’s fundraiser
  • Volunteer - on the day of the event: Sunday, June 1, 7:30-10:30 am
